This Privacy Notice describes how Farmnet360 ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, and shares your personal data when you use FarmNet360 (the "Service"). Farmnet360 acts as the data controller for information collected through the Service.

2. Categories of personal data we collect
- Account data: name, email address, password (hashed), profile details.
- Farm data: records, logs, photos and documents you upload to the Service.
- Usage and device data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, timestamps, device identifiers, telemetry.
- Support data: messages and attachments you send to our support team.
- Marketing preferences: your choices around email communications.
Payment information (card details, billing address) is collected and processed directly by Paddle, our Merchant of Record — we do not store full payment card details.
3. Purposes and legal bases
- To provide the Service (contract performance): authentication, hosting your records, marketplace listings.
- Security, fraud prevention and abuse detection (legitimate interests).
- Customer support (contract performance / legitimate interests).
- Product improvement and analytics (legitimate interests).
- Marketing communications (consent, where required).
- Legal compliance (legal obligation), e.g. tax records, lawful requests.
4. Sharing your data
We share personal data only with:
- Service providers / subprocessors who host, secure and operate the Service (cloud hosting, analytics, email delivery, support tooling).
- Paddle.com Market Ltd., our Merchant of Record, for processing payments, managing subscriptions, calculating and remitting taxes, and providing billing-related customer service. See Paddle's Privacy Policy.
- Professional advisers (legal, accounting, auditors) under confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities where required by law, court order or to protect rights and safety.
We do not sell personal data.
5. International transfers
Your data may be processed outside your country of residence. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the Standard Contractual Clauses and adequacy decisions.
6. Retention
We keep your personal data only as long as needed for the purposes described above, to comply with our legal obligations, or to resolve disputes. When data is no longer needed it is deleted or anonymised. You can request deletion of your account at any time.
7. Your rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Request erasure ("right to be forgotten").
- Restrict or object to certain processing.

We aim to respond to verified requests within one month.

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encryption in transit, access controls, and regular security reviews. No system is perfectly secure; please use a strong, unique password.

We use essential cookies needed for the Service to function (e.g. session, authentication), plus limited analytics to understand product usage. You can manage cookies through your browser settings.

We may update this Privacy Notice from time to time. Material changes will be communicated through the Service or by email. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
